Trade Expos in Mexico

Trade shows are the most efficient way to break into the Mexican market — meet buyers, agents, and state investment agencies face to face. Below is a list of real, established expos (editions shift yearly — confirm with organizers).

These run consistently; exact year, venue, and registration deadlines are on each organizer's site. I post current edition windows in the group when open.

Three ways to participate

  1. Exhibit yourself: rent a standard booth — for teams with Spanish materials and a local agent
  2. Group booth: I help you pool with others, split cost, share translation & logistics — best for a first test
  3. Exhibit-by-proxy: you stay home; my local team sets up, collects cards, does first-touch — for owners who want to probe before committing

Expo prep checklist (90 days out)

  • Pick expo & edition; confirm booth fee and deadline
  • Spanish brochure + Spanish landing page (Mexican buyers rarely purchase in English)
  • RFC / import credentials on hand to discuss "can you supply directly"
  • Samples: via temporary import (ATL) or overseas warehouse — avoid post-show tax snags
  • Translation: at least one Spanish business companion, or my remote/on-site support
  • Cards & lead sheet: unified capture, I archive & follow up post-show

Common expo mistakes

  • Materials all in Chinese/English → local buyers won't even flip through
  • Talking "supply" on-site without RFC → counterpart can't execute, lead wasted
  • Samples imported as general trade → taxed post-show; ATL is better
  • No follow-up → 90% of leads lost

Post-show, what I do for you

  • Archive valid cards, grade by intent level
  • First-touch follow-up in Spanish (email / WhatsApp)
  • For deep talks, introduce you to local agents or buyers

FAQ

Q: Which expo first for a beginner? By category: auto → INA PAACE; electronics → Expo Electronica; retail → Expo ANTAD. Q: What does exhibit-by-proxy cost? Priced by show days + booth size — far cheaper than flying yourself. Q: Can I go without Spanish? Yes, but conversion drops; group or proxy is advised.

What I can do

  • Match expos/editions to your category
  • Group registration, translation, local logistics — one stop
  • Exhibit-by-proxy lead collection, forwarded post-show

Tell me your category and budget — I'll give you a "which expos, how to go cheapest" plan.
